These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of livetvuk.com (the “Site”), operated by Live TV (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Site.

1. About the service

livetvuk.com is a free online directory and viewing interface for live television channels and TV guide information. The Site may display:

  • channel pages with live players;
  • programme schedules / “what’s on” listings;
  • search, categories and related channel recommendations;
  • editorial or informational text about channels;
  • advertising that helps keep the service free.

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Site at any time.

2. Eligibility and acceptable use

You must use the Site only in accordance with applicable law. You agree not to:

  • use the Site for any unlawful purpose, including copyright or broadcasting rights infringement;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, players, APIs or other users’ data;
  • interfere with the Site’s operation (including scraping that harms performance, DDoS, malware injection or bypassing security);
  • misuse the contact form (spam, abuse, automated submissions);
  • remove or obscure any proprietary notices on the Site;
  • use the Site in a way that harms our infrastructure, advertisers or other users.

3. Streams, listings and third-party content

Live streams, embeds, schedule data and channel metadata may be supplied by third-party sources, CDNs or partners. Availability can change without notice because of:

  • rights holder or broadcaster restrictions;
  • geo-blocking or network conditions;
  • maintenance, outages or source changes;
  • player, browser or device limitations.

Where a stream cannot be shown for legal or technical reasons, the page may still provide channel information and TV listings. Programme titles, times and descriptions are provided for guidance and may differ from the actual broadcast.

Third-party sites and services linked from livetvuk.com are outside our control. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

4. Intellectual property

The Site’s design, logos, text, software and compilation of channel information are protected by intellectual property laws. Channel names, logos, programme titles and broadcast content remain the property of their respective owners.

You may browse the Site for personal, non-commercial use. You must not copy, redistribute, frame, mirror or commercially exploit the Site or its content without our prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

5. Advertising

The Site may display third-party advertising, including display ads and pre-roll / video ads. Advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies subject to your choices described in our Cookie Policy and Privacy Notice.

6. No warranties

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that:

  • streams will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free;
  • listings will always be complete or accurate;
  • the Site will be free of viruses or harmful components;
  • any particular channel will remain available.

7. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill or business opportunity arising from your use of the Site or inability to access a stream. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to £50 or the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim (whichever is higher). The Site is currently free of charge.

8. Privacy

How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Notice and Cookie Policy. If there is a conflict between these Terms and those notices on a privacy topic, the privacy / cookie notices prevail for that topic.

9. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also bring proceedings in their local courts where the law allows.
